I paid the seller but haven’t received my funds

If you’ve sent the funds and the seller hasn’t completed the trade, please report a problem with the trade by sending us an email at inquiries@MatchPay.app. We’ll have our customer service agents look into it and send a response in about 48 hours.

How do I contact MatchPay Customer Service?

You can contact us by sending your query to inquiries@MatchPay.app. It’ll take approximately 48 hours for a response.

How do I report a problem?

If something goes wrong with your MatchPay trade, just let us know by reporting a problem from within the trade. You can also send us an email at inquiries@MatchPay.app and we’ll provide a response in approximately 48 hours.

Where can I find my trade history?

To find your trade history, simply log into your MatchPay account, click the three horizontal lines at the top right of any page then, select ‘Transaction History’. You’ll be able to filter your transactions by date month and year.

Do I need to validate my phone number on MatchPay?

Upon registering for MatchPay, you will be required to validate your phone number through an SMS validation process.

How Can I create an offer?

To create an offer, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the three horizontal lines at the top right of your MatchPay account
  2. Select ‘My Offers
  3. You’ll be directed to the ‘My Offers’ screen where you’ll need to click ‘Create A New Offer
  4. Enter the amount you wish to sell and choose your preferred payment
  5. Click ‘Create’ and you’ll be presented with the confirmation

PLEASE NOTE: The seller will be able to cancel or edit a pending offer once it has not yet been matched to an order. In the event the offer is canceled, the funds will be returned to the MatchPay’s ‘Available Balance’.

Where can I find Payment methods on MatchPay?

The payment methods are located under ‘Payment Settings,’ which can be found by clicking the three horizontal lines at the top right corner of the MatchPay site.

How can I deactivate partial payments?

Partial Payments can be deactivated under the ‘Payment Settings’ menu.

  1. Click the three horizontal lines at the top right of the MatchPay
  2. Click ‘Payment Settings’.
  3. Toggle the ‘Allow Partial Payments’ button to turn it on or
How can I cancel a pending offer?

To cancel a pending offer, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the three horizontal lines at the top right of your MatchPay account
  2. Select ‘My Offers
  3. On the ‘My Offers’ screen, you’ll see your ‘Active Offers’.
  4. Hit the “X” next to the pending offer you’d like to

  • If your offer is canceled, the funds will be returned to your MatchPay ‘Available Balance’ and not the merchant’s account

How do I know that using MatchPay is safe?

At MatchPay, the security of your account and trades is our top priority.

Valid email addresses and phone numbers are standard elements of verification upon registering for a MatchPay account. Your account will also feature password protection when performing certain actions within your MatchPay account.

Additionally, whenever modifications are made to your account, you’ll be sent email verification to ensure changes were made by you, the user.

Can you change my MatchPay ID?

Once a MatchPay user ID is created, we don’t allow any modifications. Please ensure your username abides by the specified requirements and is appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE: Should your username be deemed inappropriate, contain hateful or otherwise offensive words or phrases, you will be required to change it.

I’ve made my payment, but I forgot to press the ‘I have sent the funds’ button, or I did not push it in time

We always encourage users to confirm that funds have been sent in a timely manner to avoid any delays or potential cancellation of the trade in question.

However, if for any reason this does not happen in the time allotted, we would encourage users to attempt to resolve the matter using the chat feature on site before proceeding with a cancellation request or reporting a problem.

If the trade ‘receiver’ has sent the funds, but the trade ‘sender’ has not confirmed receipt in a timely manner, we would also suggest resolving the matter via the chat function before reporting a problem.

How do I reset my MatchPay password?

If you’ve forgotten your password or would like to reset it, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Login button at the top of the page;
  2. Click the ‘Forgot Password’ link from the bottom of the window;
  3. Enter the email address you used to register your MatchPay account in the field provided and click ‘Send’
  4. An email will arrive in your mailbox* within a few moments – click the link provided and you will be directed to the ‘Reset Password’ page

*Check your spam or junk mail folder if it does not appear in your inbox

  1. Enter your new password in the fields provided to confirm it and press ‘Reset’

Important Reminders:

  • Your password must be a minimum of (X) characters
  • Your password cannot contain your username
